50, Fabulous, and Finally Feeling Myself (Again!)

50, Fabulous, and Finally Feeling Myself (Again!)

Let's talk about real life, shall we? Life doesn't always follow the picture-perfect timeline we envision. For me, finding true love and starting a family happened a little later than planned. I didn't meet "the one" until later in life, and we welcomed our first (and only!) child when I was 40 – officially a "geriatric pregnancy," a term that always made me laugh (and feel a little bit old!).

Motherhood is the most incredible, transformative experience, but it also comes with its challenges. Like so many moms, I struggled to lose the baby weight. Now, here's the kicker: I've been a dedicated exerciser since my freshman year of high school! Seriously, consistent workouts have been a part of my life for decades. But as I painfully discovered, you can't outrun a bad diet. All those years of gym time couldn't counteract the extra pounds that seemed determined to stick around.

Fast forward ten years (yes, ten!) and I'm thrilled to share that I finally hit my pre-baby weight! I shed those stubborn 30 pounds, and I feel fantastic. It took time, dedication, and a serious look at my nutrition, but I did it!

But… (you knew there was a "but," right?)… Just as I was celebrating this milestone, I noticed something else: my hair. Oh, my hair. I've always been blessed with thick, luscious locks. Now? Thin, limp, and just… sad. Weight change/Hormonal change hair loss is a real thing, and it hit me hard. My once-voluminous mane was a shadow of its former self.

I tried a few things, but nothing seemed to make a significant difference. Then, I discovered the magic of collagen gummies. I know, I know, gummies often have a bit of sugar. But honestly, I take so many supplement pills already that the thought of a tasty gummy treat was incredibly appealing. Plus, these weren't just any gummies. I fell in love with the Glow Gummies. They have the perfect combination of collagen and biotin, the two ingredients I knew were essential for hair regrowth.

And guess what? They work! My hair is finally starting to fill out again. It's thicker, healthier, and has that bounce I'd been missing. I'm so happy with the results. It's like the final piece of the puzzle in my transformation.

So, here I am, 50 a mom, a wife, and finally feeling like myself again. It took time, effort, and a few delicious gummies, but I got there. This journey has taught me so much about patience, self-care, and the importance of finding what works for you. And if that involves a little gummy treat along the way? Well, I'm all for it.
